Welcome to The Munster Fire and Rescue website. We are a group of commonly minded people who share an interest in all of the Fire and Rescue Services. We also wish to help show the work and equipment that these great people do in the areas that they work, so we have decided to set up this site.
We now have been going for nearly 3 years and we have come along way since we started. Over 95000 visitors from over 80 countries. This has been above and beyond all expectations that we though possible. A very big word of thanks to you all for helping us to get this far and your continued support into the future would be really appreciated.
We been very surprised by the helpfulness of everyone we have met along our travels and we would like to thank all those we have met, got us contacts into other stations and have emailed us with pictures of appliances and of incidents. There are so many to thank as a result and we wish to leave no one out so hopefully this will cover everyone. Thank you one at all.
We would really appreciate your support going into the future, especially with photographs of appliances, incidents and information on fleet movements, be it Coast Guard, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Airport Fire & Rescue services or the Volunteer Rescue/Medical Services.
We are currently tracking down a number of new appliances that have been delivered and we hope to bring pictures of these shortly as well as a number of fleet movements.
We are really trying at the moment to complete the ambulance pages of the Site. We are currently looking for pictures of the HSE NAS ambulances and special units in the following areas:
Kilrush, Ennistymon in County Clare
All of County Kerry (Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Ballybunion, Kenmare, Caherciveen & Dingle)
Waterford City
Your help with these would be really appreciated
We really appreciate the photos of incidents that have been sent to us, but if you have any more and are willing to share them we would only be too delighted to post them (they will be fully credited to the person who sends them to us and that person fully owns the copyright on them, fully Anonymity WILL be respected also).
It has been YOU guys that have helped us get this far so the site is about you as much as it is about us and your support into future would be appreciated.
Thanks
The Munsterfireandrescue.com Team
